Theoben mfr help

Hi there ive got an early theoben mfr im wanting to give it a strip down, a late spring clean if you will, clean and polish ect because i never really have ? has anyone got a link to a good strip down guide or have done this already could use some info ? cheers

Hi join rapid7ownersclub there are strip down guilds on there ,mfrs are like any other rapid best thing I can say If Its not broke Dont fix IT.

Yeah i suppose your right if it still works, its mainly the bolt action needs re greasing i would make life easier to have it out ? i have looked at the rapid7ownersclub but i cant find a sighn up/ register bit ? am i missing something :rolleyes:

If you do manage to strip it for whatever reason be carefull with the trigger its a PITA to put back together if you dont know what your doing.

thanks for the reply managed to get it done, damm some of those screws were tight ! ( and stayed away from the trigger ) :good:

could be thread lock on them, if you replace it use loctite 222 only. not super glue.

 

I may have an old schematic diagram somewere of the Mk1 pm me your add i will post. thats if i find it. plus some "O" rings.

Hi there, join R7OC as suggested, and have a good read at tech files. And DONT grease the bolt its meant to be ran dry
