Axe
I was chatting to a guy on the Blade Tech stand at the CLA, when he demostrated the system, he pulled the knife back through the sharpener whislt following the shape of the blade i.e pulled the handle out when he got to the tip of the blade. He never pushed the knife back through.
Dunkield
You pull your knife through the blades - gently, and repeat about 3 or 4 times according to the blurb. If you have done it right, look on the floor you will see a pile of swarf which used to be your knife blade
Axe
I don't think turning the unit round has any affect stuart as the blades are mounted one behind the other. Turning it over would just be the same.
fiiish1987
I've never turned mine round. just pull it through with nigh on no pressure and follow the blade's shape. When i bought mine they gave me a leaflet on how to use it and on following its instructions i have turned every blade in my house into a razor.
