harrycatcat1
Whats the difference between Avon muck boots and Wyre valley trent muck boots Do they have different applications? I have seen them on fleebay for about £
Al69ec
All muck boots have different tread design on the sole each corresponding to a river. I find the Derwent pattern more usefull for field use. Trent are more of a general use boot like gardening.

Nial
The tay sports's I think are thicker lined for colder weather. The Tay sport also has a much chunkier boot like tread on the bottom. The only downside with these is they're too hot this time of year! Nial.
harrycatcat1
I might just get the Wyre valley trent ones as the tread is described as having a "sturdy all terrain tread" Multi purpose should do the job. Thanks for the replies you learn something new everyday.
happypig
check out the manufacturers website.... most listings show a picture of the tread.... Some of the muckboots have tread which looks very thin and i would not want to garden in them......
