Using the red filter from the truck there was a set of eyes in the distance, so out with the sticks (thank you Werner) and off on foot. I use an amber filter on the gun lamp in these lighter evenings, while sweeping a group of sheep some shot away from the hedge in a hurry and there was the fox nosing around them. Being down wind my cursing the sheep to move out of the way fell on deaf ears Then she took a few steps away from the sheep……whack from the .243 Number 41!
