hi all is there such a thing as a rucksack/backpack avail to carry the ferts and the nets :hmm:

I am positive I have seen them but I can't remember where they where  I just think it would be easier than a game bag and a box ........

Any other ideas welcome or do you use something more comfortable and suitable

Many thanks

People make their own by making a ply box to fit inside a rucksack, usually the ones with a bottom zipped compartment underneath. I'd steer away from using just a bag as the ferrets benefit from the extra protection (and confinement) of a sturdy box.

Boxes are very useful though, gives you somewhere to sit whilst having a brew and waiting around.

I wouldn't even consider using a bag. They offer the ferrets no protection if dropped, squashed in the back of the car or stood on out in the field. All of which could be fatal. Not to mention they will be wet and cold the moment they are placed on the ground.

A decent ferret box is vital and will also double up as a good seat. :good:
