browning n spaniel Posted July 18, 2012 Report Share Posted July 18, 2012 well what a day, let my 3 spaniels out the kenels this morning and the young un didnt look to cleaver with funny eyes and ears layed back,and un able to sit properly, by mid morning she didnt look any better so rang vet who said take her in, . vet looked round her, eyes dilated, eyes layed back, blue coloured tounge, at first thought poisioning, then may be brain trouble,. well after 5 hrs of worry they phoned to say that it tetnus, her ears layed back cus of jaw lock, turns out she contracted it through dirty water[ pond, puddles ect] most prob when we was shooting wk last sat when she was retreiving through a deep filled water ditch on the good side she gona be ok just thought id let you all know just incase your dog gets ill Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
