pigeonslayer15
Hi all, I had bin watching a field of laid rape for a week or so and saw a few pigeons feeding on it, but most of the pigeons I saw were flighting over the top to a field of laid wheat just a couple of fields behind which unfortunately Is not on my perm, so on saturday me and my brother set up on the rape at bout 11:30 and from then on we had a nice steady flow comin in for a couple of hours, we finished up with 44 woodies ( 38 picked) 8 ferals and 3 crows it should have bin a lot more but was quite difficult with the sun directly in front of us ( thats what im blaming it on) so not to bad. roll on the stubble! Cosd
That's a good bag! Just because they were heading to another field shouldn't mean you can't have a go at enticing them down. Being beneath a flight line can be better than being on the field they are heading to sometimes Cos
pigeonslayer15
Thanks mate Yer the birds were dropping in like stones off of the flightline I was using just the magnet and my flapper on the swooper it was quite a deadly combination
