88ajp
Good day all, I have a rotary pigeon magnet with what I call a 3 pronged removable cradle. At the moment I use a friends full bodied spinning wing decoys that fit to the middle prong. My question is what is the best method the attatch shot birds to the cradle, mine don't seem to be secure? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks Ash

Thanks Ash Stick the middle prong up its '***** until it hits the head (try to embed the head from the inside so it looks naturally forward) and then spread the wings on the outer prongs. simples! Bleeh
With the wings, find the joint in the middle of the wing and push the metal wing spike through that, it'll take a few goes but you'll know what I mean once you've hit it.
88ajp
Thanks Gents that is just what I needed to know. Also would you always swap out decoys for real birds? Cheers Ash
Fatcatsplat
Yup - when available and as long as they ain't been shot "ugly". You want them to look inviting. And only swap when you've got a pair to replace as a real bird and a dummy bird can make the magnet somewhat wobbly
