Hey all a little advice if you will? I have purchased most of the items for this build bar the screen and torch. Now the question is what IR illuminator? The unit will be used on PCP air 12ft/lb up to 17hmr so up to say 160-200 yds (eye shine)? Options are T20, T20 + doubler, T38, NM800 or other. Thoughts much appreciated, Ash

Good morning Gents, A two part question if you please. 1st what are your thoughts on the Ruger 1022 50th, good points and bad. I like the look, synthetic stock fits the bill and they have left off the ugly barrel clamp? 2nd and more important question, think in know the answer, does a normal set of weaver scope mounts fit on a Ruger piccatiny rail? Don't think that piccatiny mounts fit vise versa, correct? Thanks Ash

Hi, You need to be carefully of rotating parts like props and drive shafts as these can get entwined with the grass. You must also be care full of radiators and intercoolers ,especially as the weather has finally warmed up, as these can easily get blocked causing major damage to engines, gearboxes and power steering boxes. If you are going to do it have a look under you car prior to try and locate any parts that maybe affected then a quick visual before you hit the open road if possible. HTH, Ash
