12borejimbo
Yesterday I did my first session of case prep, I de primed 160 cases and tumbled them all again, I have now re primed 50 cases ready for my powder charge and a head. My question is, should all the cases be exactly the same size? I have been making sure they are less that 1.900 and no less than 1.895. Please shed some light to this. al4x
in normal use they will be fine, you can get picky but the main concern is that they aren't too long. You can check they cycle fine without a stiff bolt to be on the absolutely safe side before loading but sounds like they should be fine
12borejimbo
Thanks, All I did was cleaned them up and some of the longer ones I trimmed between the measurements above. Mostly paid special attention to the flash hole, primer pocket and case neck.
