0145wirbelwind
I am thinking of buying the winchester super black shadow sxp as my field gun for all weathers and pray. The prices looks right but i have not seen the gun in the flesh yet. Has anyone tried one yet and better still , has anyone got one and is there anything i should know about before i put my cash down. would love the 3.5" magnum for all the hard to hit places Edited August 8, 2012 by 0145wirbelwind

Will Poon
If so I have one it's a beast of pump action , easy to clean and not bad on clays as well got mine a few weeks ago everyone should have a pump action in the cabinet great price as well
Will Poon
I'll tell you an unusual thing about the gun, when you fire it, it sort of acts like a semi auto by half ejecting the empty shell out of the chamber so there's a faster reload time
Dr_evil
Excellent guns, I miss mine. The only problem was it was a 3" instead of 3.5" those haven't arrived yet I don't think

BerettaSV10
Was looking at one of these the other night and at under £400 new looks like a great deal, the only thing thats putting me off is can I pump it fast enough when I use it on clays. BangBangNik
Got my eye on one of these bad boys. Seems like a lot of gun for the price.
steve0146
I have a sbs and browning semi in the cabinet but take my SXP every time now. Love it. Have shot allsorts with it from pigeons to pinkfoot. Once you get the hang of it, its just as quick as a semi and more fun. Yes they are cheap and chearful but you get what you pay for and for the money, its excellent. All the shooting in my youtube clips are with the SXP. ( just look up SJB685). Oh .. apart from some of the early wildfowling ones.
Gee.
Ive got one, 26'' barrel. As mentioned, super fast reload for a pump as the spent gas cycles the slide back so you only have to push it forward. Use mine as a field gun and by god do I abuse it. Spent 3 hours in a thunderstorm with it on Sunday, dropped it in the reeds too many times and got it covered in mud. Quick wipe down and as good as new. HDAV
Isn't this the Turkish (Hatsan) made one that was delayed by quality control issues.....
