Hi all,

Got out again last night after rabbits this time, took the 17 out with a new Zeiss Duralyt 3-12 50 ret 60 on it! what a piece of kit this is very clear sharp and with a very fine red dot making the job that much easier.

We started the night with rabbits everywhere as always and filling the bag quick, with head shots out at 70 80 90 meters leaving any of the close ones and giving the new set up a real working over, I picked up a fox at about 40 meters then passed the Rifle to Mark and seconds later another showed itself at about 80 meters sitting in long grass!! Whack down that went with a well placed head shot. The rabbits where non stop at times shooting 3-4 from the same spot.

We ended the night with 60 odd rabbits and 2 foxes... if we had of gone hard at them shooting them at all ranges we would of shot over a 100 no problem. I got up this morning and added the total to the book and to date we have shot 3,078 rabbits 76 foxes and 91 magpies and crows over the last 3 and half years on 3 golf courses, our record bag was 189 by Daz and I but going over the 100 bag no less then 19 times.

Another fantastic nights sport some of the photos of the night, not all the rabbits picked due to long grass and as i am sure you all know non head shot rabbits with the 17 dont make the best photos.
