aister
whats the story with getting one? do i need to be a member of a club or can it just be for target shooting?
lineshooter
You need a valid reason to have one, so being a club member makes sense, I have four of them and they are great fun.
aister
they look like good fun but sadly there is no club here in shetland.
lineshooter
Try asking for one, they can only say no, any idea what you fancy.
Livefast123
I've just put in my variation for a .44 and thinking of getting a Remington new model army much the same as everyone else! I can't wait for the smoke, flame and smell of the old powder burners!
Scully
sadly there is no club here in shetland. Then start one!

Livefast123
Sorry for the slight hijack but which company do you think has the best quality lineshooter, out of Euroarms, Pietta and Uberti?
Imperfection
I've got one-mine is the Uberti 44.I wouldnt call it accurate, but still great fun to shoot with genuine blackpowder. When you stoke it up to the max (around 36grains of blackpowder) you get a huge ball of flame from the barrel, lots of smoke and quite hard recoil-lovley! aister
i might just try for it and see. you never know! it does sound like good fun.
lineshooter
Depends on your budget Aister, Uberti are expensive compared to Pietta, but as they are now part of Beretta build quality is better than it was. The 1860 Army model from both manufacturers is a very nice looking pistol and don`t forget the Ruger Old Army, no longer in production but was available with adjustable target sights and virtually bomb proof. All mine were brought used but they had all had very little use. The choice is yours, have a look on Henry Kranks website for more ideas.
