Anyone help me here.

I sold a gold bracelt on ebay, it was buy it now, the buyer didn't complete payment. I relisted it and the same happened with a different buyer.

Someone messaged me and asked if the item was still for sale, so I sent a payment request via paypal, not through ebay.

I'm just a little concerned, whats to say he pays me via paypal, I send the item recorded and he says, it wasn't in the box or some other ******** they come up with, how would I stand with paypal, I'm sure theres plenty of people scamming along these lines..

If you can get them to send the money as a gift then paypall can’t take it back.

But, most people won’t pay that way as it opens them up for fraud too.

… and it’s too late for that now anyway.

Insured postage.

I have heard of someone asking the post office worker to confirm something was in the box before it was wrapped and posted.

But, there wasn’t a problem so I’ve no idea if it stands in court.
