Mini Magnum
Anyone help me here. I sold a gold bracelt on ebay, it was buy it now, the buyer didn't complete payment. I relisted it and the same happened with a different buyer. Someone messaged me and asked if the item was still for sale, so I sent a payment request via paypal, not through ebay. I'm just a little concerned, whats to say he pays me via paypal, I send the item recorded and he says, it wasn't in the box or some other ******** they come up with, how would I stand with paypal, I'm sure theres plenty of people scamming along these lines.. 39TDS
Send it insured post, you should be covered one way or another. There will always be a certain element of risk, you just have to minimise it. If you don't want any risk, insist on cash sent by special delivery. Fatcatsplat
If you're that concerned, make it a "collection only" item and deal face to face
Robl
If you can get them to send the money as a gift then paypall can’t take it back. But, most people won’t pay that way as it opens them up for fraud too. … and it’s too late for that now anyway. Insured postage. I have heard of someone asking the post office worker to confirm something was in the box before it was wrapped and posted. But, there wasn’t a problem so I’ve no idea if it stands in court. castletyne
Wouldn't worry about it the transaction does not involve ebay so PayPal are not as quick to just refund the buyer your better off selling something that way
