FOXHUNTER1
Me and Ratch lamped his permission last night. Things weren't going well as every rabbit and fox was very lamp shy even though we hadn't lamped this place for months. Eventually we lamped a fox that was sitting for a shot but as Ratch was lining up the shot a lamp came sweeping across the ground from behind the fox therefore no shot was possible. We headed straight over and caught 2 chavas with lurchers. We told them to get off the land as they had no permission and we got the usual load of lies and ******** from them about they were only passing through etc .... We then left this bit of ground as we only managed to shoot 6 rabbits due to them being very shy . We tried another small permission and I lamped a fox immediately at around 200 yards , I called it in using my hand to around 80 yards and ratch duly dispatched it with .22/250 . Brisa
We have had a similar encounter recently. Rabbits and foxes shy as I have ever seen them. Found a few lads skulking about with a gun who didn't have permission.
JOHN BOY
well done mate shame about the first permission looks like the chavas have spoilt it for a little bit.
