  1. Could have been sorted with no one any the wiser. Of course if you put it on Facebook your going to get the snowflakes objecting.
  2. I've been impressed by Innis & Gunn original a lot. Good strong flavours but not too invasive. They do a rum cask beer too which I didn't care for. http://www.innisandgunn.com/the-range/#core-range
  3. Comparing apples to oranges. Hogs are vast in numbers out there and you can't attack every pest problem with the beautiful stalk and perfect shot. Is it ideal... No but they are taking peoples livelihood.
  4. Approx drop of a sub at 100 if a 50 yard zero is 7" which halfs if your using something pokey like CCI Stinger to just over 3". My scope has marks that tie up perfectly with a sub at 75, 100 and 150 yards and given you can sort your windage out 150 is within 2" group consistantly.
  5. Amazing shooting and looks like a well thought out rifle for the job in hand!
  6. Great job! Unforgetable experiance.
  7. Haha love the music. Rapids an awesome tool.
  8. When i first got my 10/22 the follow up shots ruined me but I'm back to treating it like a bolt gun now and its great.
  9. *cough* giraffe *cough* Its a good watch, much better than the Sons of Guns hick style dodgy welding dremel touting mall ninja stuff
  10. This will show you what you need to know hopefully.
  11. In my ruger 10/22 going from subs to stingers I am around half the drop at 100 yards. Around 3" as apposed to 7" of the subs. They don't group bad in my gun but not still twice that of the subs. The stingers are running pretty hot though at 1640 fps published velocity. I don't use them a lot due to being noisey ******* Edit: 50 yard zero for both.
  12. Thats a good price, I'm paying £47.50 per 500

    Pie Anyone?

Looks tasty, I know rightly I'd feel sick after eating far too much of it though! lol
  14. Something with the ballistic plex reticle from burris sounds perfect for you. Its not the kind of scope you sit down and dial in but for quick accurate target aquisition then its perfect.
  15. Was out for a walk with the air rifle yesterday for the first time in ages. I was watching a few crows through the scope around 380-400 yards away and just had a giggle to myself thinking of this video.
  16. I must be old fashioned, I'm 25 just bought a house, getting married next May and have been with Lynsey since I was 16.
  17. I can't recommend the Burris Fullfield enough, I have mine on a ruger 10/22 and bought it because it is small and light. I have been astonished with how well it works for my needs. The glass is very clear compared to my other scopes (simmons 44, mtc etc) it doesn't have parallex adjustment but it hasn't been noticed really. The reticle is the ballistic plex one and its the best part of the scope. Zero'd at 50 with subs and I have easily identified marks at 75, 100, and even 150 yards which is nice. Mine was less than £200 from the states. Edit: mine is the 3-9-42 http://www.burrisoptics.co.uk/fullfieldE1.html
  18. Much appreciated. don't be surprised if you end up with an email.
  19. Thats not bad at all even with the 90 degree wind. Cheers for the info.
