Ok, after a couple of misfires the other night, i decided to strip and clean the bolt on my .22lr CZ. I found it was full of sticky muck and grease from around 1800. Anyways, ive put it back together, and i cant lock the bolt. I can fit it in fine, but its as if its cocked (i think it is). I cant slide the bolt in with it uncocked, as it wont fit past the stock, so how do i solve this one. Im out my head with it after a long day, and cant concentrate.

ok. i checked everything and then checked everything again. im normally not too bad at this type of stuff, but really shouldnt do it when tired. I noticed that the bolt wouldnt close, as it wasnt going forward enough, leave too much headspace. the one thing i didnt think to re check was the extractor claws. if you put them the wrong way round (live ive just done) then the bolt wont go forward enough. Darwin award of the week goes to..................................... ;)

Take a look at this about 14 mins in, you probably missed something simple.

I've been knocking around with BRNO and CZ a few years and like to think I know my way around their guns quite well, but I found that useful.

One question, what language was it in? :good: :good:

Cheers
