sitsinhedges
Having had the Jimny for a little while now and finding I rarely if ever have to use the 4wd I was wondering whether it might be worth putting A/T tyres on my Berlingo van front wheels so I could use that too sometimes and whether it would improve its off road performance much, or ruin it's on road fuel efficiency and comfort etc. What tyres would I look to get? The size is 175/65/r14.
lees
I'd get some m+s rated road tyres, look at all season and winter tyres, and put them on all 4 wheels.
houlsby
Iv always used a berlingo, or a combo it's only in the last 3 years iv had a 4x4. Just be prepared to fix it ALOT more often.. I wouldn't bother with at's you'll get too confident and end up stuck!
jef
The winter tyres on my Berlingo can get me to most corners of the farm I shoot over. I'm getting fed up of fixing the car however, but unfortunately crossed that line where I should have changed it before spending too much on it.
