Liam-1990
I bought some Gamebore mammoth hi-birds 50grm 3inch BB for fox, but It says on there website that this cartridges are capable of killing geese cleanly at 90yrds seems a long way for a clean kill anyone had any experience with these and know what range they have, Ive shot a fox at around 30-40 yrds with one but not a clean kill but was not choked. cheers http://gamebore.com/...oth-magnum-lead
kent
Capable? perhaps if you shoot enough at 90 yds geese you might just drop one out of very many birds - WARNING you will not be very popular walking off and take your life in your hands LOL
henry d
90yd pattern will be very gappy and the killing power would be a bit suspect too and as a final reminder, you would have to be shooting in Scotland to use lead on geese. Liam-1990
Yeah I agree scotland only for geese with these but I have them for fox and wouldnt try and shoot it at 90yrd with these despite there claims.
henry d
If you want a good fox cartridge get some (american size2, a tad smaller than UK BB) wichester xxx 2 1/4oz as they are copper plated and buffered and not only hit hard but pattern well.
