Fatcatsplat
I've been to, ate in and been very drunk in lots of them, but none that really made me want to join them (unless they had some really good reciprocals). A lot of them trade on their sense of elitism, which in real terms amounts to musty and tired remnants of days of yore, with hotel style pricing, below average facilities and usually one or two club bores that you spend half the time avoiding. The only time they come into their own is if they offer rooms and you live out of town - That way you get a cot bed in a very small room in Central London for around 25 quid a night if you end up missing the last train. Most of the trendier/modern clubs i've been to have folded as quick as they've opened, although Soho House and the Groucho seem to have bucked that trend quite well. Wouldn't it be easier to sit in Starbucks and nurse a cappucino for a morning?

Billy.
Heard good things about this place, wrong side of town for me unfortunately. The Bank site is loads better. It's an underground vault, on two (Maybe three) floors: Bar, American Pool Hall, lounge area on 2nd Cinema, poker and conferencing on 1st You'd never find the place. It's just a black iron door down an alleyway. Proper London hidden gem.
