goldie
Hi all. Working away from home at the moment, and before I left I ordered a S+B Klassik 8x56 30mm to go on my HMR .17 CZ 452 American heavy barrel. Can anyone tell me what mounts would suit, so that I can order them now and have them for when I get home. Hope that someone has the same set-up and can advise. Many thanks. John. Bewsher500
is that a 16/17mm dovetail? its a b1tch of a combination to find for gods sake dont get the Millet ones! you have some pricey options in Tikka Optilocks, Warne (which I personally dont like) and Tikka's own rings. I found some Tikka rings in the US, bought them and then decided to leave the 1" scope on the rifle! PM me if you want details.
CharlieT
It's a 3/8 dovetail. Easier to order a different scope with a 1" tube or put a weaver rail on the rifle.
goldie
Many thanks Bewsher 500 and Chalie T for your replies. I was hoping that someone would have had the exact same set-up and it would have made things easier. It is too late now to change the scope from 30mm to 1" Will wait to see if anyone else comments. Cheers. John

12borejimbo
I used to have a 3-12x50 Klassik Schmidt and Bender on my CZ452 and all I used was a set of high rings in 30mm. Worked well. They where just sportsmatch mounts and cost me about £20 or so.
