johnbaz
hi all I recently bought a Brocock Hunter PCP rifle, it had a glass fibre stock which I must say is 'orrible!.. Someone had painted it with car aerosols!! gloss black over grey primer, the topcoat was so thin that the primer was showing through so I had a go at refinishing it.. As I bought the gun.. I rubbed the stock down with wet and dry paper(which was a feat as I have Arthritis in my hands ) I then gave it a couple of coats of satin black paint stippled on quiet thickly, the paint is quick drying and the second coat was applied 30 minutes later.. Here's the stock when finished.. The gun shoots very nicely and the silencer does the job superbly Cheers, John Edited October 11, 2012 by johnbaz

johnbaz
Thanks lads I'm going to try and get a wooden stock for it as i'm not struck on tactical stock, the plazzie one isn't very comfy at the pistol grip either..
