Gutty Boots Posted October 16, 2012 Report Share Posted October 16, 2012 Had a Thunder 2.5tdi for the last 14 months. No problems with it at all, just the approved service schedule stuck to. Does 28/30 mpg with a light foot No probs with ground clearance, (though I wouldn't take it places I took the Disco2 that it replaced.) Tows well, plenty of space in rear for kit, dogs etc, comfy enough drive on road, depends how much off road you are going to do and how extreme. Same as Gutty Boots, wouldn't go where Discoveries and Defenders I've had in the past but bung some decent all terrain tyres on least and its very capable, especially around a shoot.
