Barrel flash

Recommended Posts

when you load a rifle, you get barrel flash when the powder burns to slow, so you ave to get a faster burning one, or even when you get a barrel cut down. but with a 410 must be around the same lines. was it cheap amo, some times its that, as baikal amo did it as mentioned higher up..

Out lamping rabbits this evening with the 410 had a pocket full of mixed shells some of them gave a large flash when fired from the business end ,

just wondering why some do some dont ,

Cheers

Different powders, most likely. The slower burning the powder is then the longer time it takes to be consumed. If you are getting a muzzle-flash then it means that some of the powder is buring after it's left the barrel.
