chris64 Posted October 14, 2012 Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 Me and a mate have had permission on some land for a while,now the land next to it no one has been shooting there for a few years,we were told were the farmer lived a few miles away and we've ifd and ard about going to see them,so yesturday the ground was way to muddy now its been ploughed,so we took the bull by the horns and whent to see farmer nocked on the door lady opened it explained what we were there for she said come in and gave us permission in writting there and them ,the land has a river running at the side a flight pond at one end of the land 3 good sized splashes,not that they are what we were looking at never crossed our minds honest ,enyway just goes to show if you dont ask you dont get so dont put it off go knock on them doors Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cranfield Posted October 14, 2012 Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 I would check first that they don't mind you shooting wildfowl or game, they may just think you are shooting vermin. Once you have permission to shoot on land, its always worth contacting the farmers/landowners on surrounding land.
