borich
What's the best time to head out to shoots rabbits? I went out last night around 7:30 until 10.00 and only saw 11 or 12. Mind you there was a fox which kept popping up.
Gimlet
Dawn and dusk and right on the point of nightfall is the best time to shoot them but you need to be on the spot earlier even if you're walking up otherwise you risk blundering into them. I'm finding 11:00pm onwards more productive with the night vision. Its quieter then and they move further out into the open. The fox won't worry them unduly unless they've got a lot of juveniles above ground.

WoodyPopper
I shot my first rabbit with a rifle today (I had the rifle, not the rabbit). I've shot a few with my shotgun but only recently got my pest control variation on my FAC. It was about 7am. I'm not giving advice, you understand - I'm just feeling pleased with myself.
