BerettaSV10
Can some with a beretta A400 xcel (prob the same with other A400's) tell me what is the standard spare drop spacer (metal plate) and the plastic shim is. The spacers on mine have been changed and could with knowing what the spare sizes are so I can try and work out what should be standard supply and how far the previous owner has changed it. Don't think I will be changing it from how it is currently set up as it feels ok in its current configeration, just would be nice to know so if I do need to tweek it later on I would first reset it to standard configeration. BerettaSV10
Thanks, its the 50 / 55 plate fitted then. Don't know how much that will have changed the stock angles etc from the 60 / 65 plate.
BlaserF3
Each division is 5mm either up or down measured at the comb. The 50 spacer is as high as the comb will go, the 65 spacer lowers the comb to its lowest.
BerettaSV10
Thanks again, thats a fair bit of adjustment, should be out next Tues will try it on its current settings, now just to sort out the plastic (fibre glass) shims. Will compare the escort and the a400 together to see how much difference is in the current settings, not a perfect way to see how they align and behave but a starting point. BerettaSV10
Done a very crude comparison with the escort and the comb is close to each other, so fingers crossed won't need to alter anything.
retromlc
when fitting the shims you are supposed to use matching numbers, the palstic one goes on the end by the action should have the number facing you and the metal plate where you bolt it inside the stock, you should see the corresponding number facing you also.
