Gun Watch
Hardy Bros. £1,750 12 gauge Shotgun Private Seller Used - Very Good Condition Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire Side by Side, -, -, 30" barrels Description It is in fantastic condition given its age, it does have a small amount of pitting in the left hand barrel - but unlike the other examples which appear from time to time it has the genuine barrels on it, they have not been sleeved. It is engraved on each side Hardy Bros and has Hardy of Alnwick on the rib. This gun shoots really sweet, it is a non ejector and is Nitro proofed (It has the original Black powder proof marks also!) - it has 2 1/2" chambers - I am not sure what it choked! It has 30 1/4" inch barrels with a stock length of 15 1/4" This gun is being sold by Pigeon Watch member MiLisCer. Walker570
One wonders who made the gun for them as like the Army & Navy Stores, they did not actually make guns themseleves just had their names put on them. I have an Army & Navy 16gauge which I am reasonably certain is made by Westley Richards back in early 1900s. My view as yours Ditchie, overpriced.
