what year my son had the 04 & 05 290 modles

 

It's an 04 290 as it happens....

 

nip down road to aboyne and have a chat to my uncle, he knows all ther is to know about trials bikes!

 

What's yer uncles name? I'm pretty close to there!

Steven Dunn, works for forestry commission

might of seen the name in the paper recently (if you read it!), his daughter was killed in a car crash not all that long ago (Zoe Dunn)

No, not that one, she was driving a clio, hit a tree, cant remember name of road now but wasnt far from Aboyne

He only just got back to into bikes recently because his son (Daniel) has started riding now, but he knows alot about bikes, well all engines and machines, hes a mechanic on them great big tree cutter downer thingys they use up there ont moontins!

 

'His' workshop is at a place beginning with D i think

son thought his were excellant, if serviced regular they are good,look for water in the oil as water pump shaft needs changing often (every couple years) look at throttle under grip if white(not much twist but very full on, if black more turn and smoother power delivery)if your competent at riding trials get it, :innocent:
