Danoi99
I just got given a baseball hat with leaves on top and a camo veil attached !! I do look like a tree with it on, will it help in a hide situation? I could definitely notice pigeons were veering off sharply once they saw my milky white noggin poking up over the netting !! Perhaps with this thing on I could have a gander over the top a bit more eh ? Does any one use this sort of thing ?? or should I leave it at home ?? steve_b_wales
Anything that blanks out skin tone, will help you. Keeping still in the hide etc until the last moment, is more important though.

I think if I stand out at the decoy pattern and look back and see any faces or movement then this needs to be corrected or the birds will see it a lot easier as they will have a higher view point

So keeping still as much as possible is more important than camo. It's been proved that a person who sat in a hide, wearing a bright orange jacket, shot loads of birds, by keeping his movement to a minimum. I believe birds cannot see 'colours, but more like shade of grey etc. I may be wrong though.
Mr Rizzini
I have also noticed that nearly every single time I am standing outside the hide with my back to the decoys and taking the hide down that 1-2 pigeons come into land in the pattern lol
