Zeus
Park Farm is just outside Kiddie and has a good range of facilities, Hereford and Worcester is by Redditch and also a good, if slightly posher venue, Cannon Clays is Halesowen, very relaxed sunday shoot, South Worcester shooting ground - never been but mates attend regularly. Ooh I'm just like google me Whats Cannon Clays like? Edited October 31, 2013 by Zeus
The Mighty Prawn
Whats Cannon Clays like? Really nice bunch, they have a sporting layout and skeet in the middle, I'd advise a 4x4 as parking is in a fairly uneven field. They also have probably the hardest bolting rabbit I've ever encountered, it speeds off down a hill bouncing and jumping quite often getting four or five feet in the air - it's like a gazelle! They also have some amazing clays that fly over the head from behind which need Jedi skills to anticipate and get onto
Nikk
I lived in Kidderminster up to 1979. I don't have too many memories of it as I was only 7 when we left there but it's not every day you hear the place mentioned
The Mighty Prawn
I lived in Kidderminster up to 1979. It hasn't changed, still showing original Star Wars at the cinema and only three tv channels
Nikk
I actually did see Star Wars at the cinema if it's the same one My dad used to take me fishing on the canal and I have very fond memories of Bewdley train museum, one day I am going to take my daughter down there maybe on the Christmas special if they still do it
The Mighty Prawn
one day I am going to take my daughter down there Never met her but sure she doesn't deserve that! Not unless you're trying to demonstrate the 'you think you have it tough' point! Actually that river through Kiddie town centre is packed with Chub and I've seriously considered smuggling a telescopic fishing rod down and trying to furtle one out, they've never been fished for and should be really easy to catch, half a big mac with a couple of trebles buried in it, bobs your uncle
The Mighty Prawn
Update, shot at South Worcester Shooting Ground yesterday, top location, I was awful but can blame the wind as have no other excuses other than being not very good! One of my shooting pals had the best excuse for a missed pair - hands still sticky from spilt lucozade!
