Gozzy
Sorry got to vent , shooting today at club and while on the stand a group start waiting behind us , plenty if room around but why must people stand so close !!! A lady commented " watch your barrels as they were about to give her a poke (gun broken). Hardly any room to turn around at the stand , annoying thing is they were experienced shooters with a coach !!! Next time I'm ejecting over my shoulders
Salty
I know what you mean. I hate people hovering about right behind me, especially if they're talking in loud voices the whole time. Have some respect mutha hubbards! I find the whole attitude at most clay clubs stinks to be honest! Bunch of jumped up wannabes all trying to out do each other on pose value and perceived etiquette. Awful way to spend a morning.
P~MX
I can see what you're sayin Salty but were not all like that -- some of us do it for the craic and a good day out, others as you say are wannabes who think they'll be challengin Big George at the next shoot ! the good shots are the ones you don't here or see too often . Only1cliff
Ive so far not had this problem, i have had people waiting behind me but never too close. Although i do tend to rush myself when i no people are waiting behind me. Where do you shoot?
Gozzy
Worsley Manchester , usually ok there but this one crowd really did my nut in. The barrels wouldn't be pointing at you or going to hit you if you wasn't sitting on my back
Thunderbird
Never ever seen it except when I'm on 8-9 and look like a straight. Then they crane in for a look.
claytonmarc
Nothing worse in my eyes. I had the same last weekend at worsley. Guys almost in the stand with you and leaning on the fence at the side so you can see the in you peripheral
Dibs
I'm with you on this one. They will be two groups back and still have to budge in and be hanging off the cage to see what's what! Personally I'd rather not watch 100 of the same bird before I get in the stand! If you haven't sorted out how your going to hit it by then surely it's home time?? Edit - just read this I must be getting grumpy in my old age! (42!)
