Big Al
I have a few boxes of the above to try out. I know they are a Maxam company and assume they are a good mid-price cartridge. I have heard mixed reports - some swear by them. Others swear about them. Has anyone else had any experience of using this cartidge and what did you think of it? dingo45
Open one I did the shot was oxidised some mishaped. We should look at shot quality when we buy ammo.
Big Al
Thanks. I will. Could that be down to storage though?
Big Al
I opened one. There was indeed some slight oxidising on a few pellets. Maybe a fifth to a quarter. Is that a big thing or just and interesting observation. Would those pellets not be as effective in some way? I didnt see any misshaped pellets. On another point, I got a box of gambore pure gold 20 g. Anything with George Digweed on the box has got to be worth a look! They seem to be very dirty however leaving a lot of **** up the barrel. Or maybe its the batch I got.
