Ratsmasher
Morning all, was wondering if any of you lot have one of the flappers made by A1 decoys that fit onto a bouncer, se I bought one and Every time I stick a pigeon on it and turn it on the weight of the bird makes it turn upside down. It is the extending bit on the bouncer that turns, but I cant seem to sort it out by tightening the ring on the bouncer (hope that makes sense) Have any of you got one of these and have had similar problems...any award winning solutions out there? atb Ratty
THE GRIFF
I have 2 of these poles and they turn with just a dead pigeon on them, the thread on one has nearly stripped and I have only used them a few times, my mate has fit a rubber gasket behind the thread and he said it sorted his out, but the threads are too badly gone on mine. I was thinking of just drilling it and putting a rivet through it to make it to a fixed length.
bothbarrels
You could try, 'roughing' up the surface of the inner pole with sandpaper to give the collar something to grip on, I did this and it seems to have solved it! Ratsmasher
Thanks for the advice, I also gave them a ring and they said to put some tape around the grommet so it would grip better. Im going to do a bit of experimentation later Atb
THE AD
Did this with mine small rubber o ring which squashes down inside bottom pole and screw top, works a treat.
