fieldwanderer
Just put my name down for one of these loaders, I haven't got the patience for single stage as I've been doing so far! Any opinions on them please? I've been assured they're ok for what I consider normal length hulls (70mm) but I can't seem to find any info about what lengths they're capable of as standard, anyone know what they'll load (2 1/2" to 3" for example)? fieldwanderer
Can they not load anything shorter then? or longer for that matter?
Guest cookoff013
dont think so, its just for churning out the 70mm loads.

Ah well, at least it suits the size I use This time of year, I don't need a lot but standing there making even 30 gets a bit tedious in the cold - and in the summer, I was making maybe a 100 a couple of times a week which also loses its fascination after a while

Floating Chamber
The first few thousand reloads may be scrap with a combination of no powder, no wad, no primer, collapsed hull, split mouth, powder and shot but no wad. Don't give up....get a sharp knife. I have picked up five progressives from home loaders who were impatient.
fieldwanderer
Thanks F.C. lets hope it's more like the first 100 or so though! Cutting cartridges up isn't my idea of a good way to spend an afternoon
