shakin stevens
Sounds good i think, you get more notes out of it with both hands, go on youtube and watch that chap think he is from Denmark that's how i got started i'm no goose calling expert but its easy to use than some. WelshAndy
Bought the greylag hammer 2 seasons ago and couldn't get a proper sound out of it! Then bought the haydel h-81 which I've just sold to fund a solway as personally I think they are the closest thing to the real thing. mudpatten
You can easily retune a canada hammer to sound like a greylag hammer, straightforward enough when you know how. It`s literally the same call with a different reed and wedge position. The only downside with a short reed call is that you really need someone who is proficient with it to give you a few face to face pointers, something which I appreciate is not always possible. If you master the SR call it will eventually become the best sounding call you can get.
