However, the pigeons are looking for alternatives to rape (many are on ivy berries) so they will certainly turn up to have a scratch about, as will the corvids. pigeonblasterian Posted January 12, 2013 Report Share Posted January 12, 2013 Am looking forward to getting on the maize cover once it is cut.Have had some decent shooting over maize and it certainly attracts the pigeons when it has been cut. Only trouble is it is soon ploughed in and usually only get a couple of weeks shooting on it. But it makes a nice change after shooting on the rape. stiggy84arsenal Posted January 12, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 12, 2013 Thats it pigeon blaster its a change.... i give a week or so watching them so i can find out witch strip there using the most, then i go and bag/banger the others and i it usally works really well.
