YAYY-back on the road again, advice needed ref Santa Fe

I am chuffed to bits, I had to surrender my driving licence in 2004, after 30+ years driving, for medical reasons. DVLA have now agreed that I can drive again - RESULT !! :yahoo:

Now - I don't need a serious off-roader, because of my health and other problems, I shoot mainly clay pigeon and target FAC. My daughter's Rav4 seems to be just the thing for me, a bit of off-road/green lane down to shooting grounds, and something so that I won't be stuck in the bit of snow we get here in the UK, I don't need it for work as I am retired.

Decent RAV4s are a bit thin on the ground locally at the moment, but I have seen a Hyundai Santa Fe, 2009, with a diesel auto setup. Anyone ever had/driven one of these, for the type of driving I will be doing? Any thoughts about alternatives? These and the RAVs seem the best for all round reliability and economy, I don't want to be spannering any more, done enough of that, but I am sure PW will know the full facts

-awaiting thoughts gents................

Whatever the case, dont drive it on the the opposite side of the road. ;)

Coffee on screen!

great result on your license mate. :good:

Cheers for that sir, seemed like forever at first, but now can't believe it has been 8 years this week! :w00t:

Not sure how relevant but my mates wife has one and has had a fair few problems. Mostly to do with battery, starting etc. otherwise seems to be a good motor, well specked n comfy.

Will watch out for that, thanks. :good:
