TEMPER
After a book or two on reloading shot shells with lead/steel. Don't know much about it so not sure if the American stuff is different to our own. Thinking of loading steel for clays and pigeons as a one shell for all type of thing. Regards TEMP. Regards TEMP. er.... steel isnt the answer for all game types and or clays... allow me to just educate you alittle. steel is less dense and harder, so the ballistics are different. steel works better comparing speeds of 1200fps and 1500fps respectively. 1200fps being about the standard lead load. so, shooting game with clay shotsizes isnt ideal, its even worse with steel, even with super fast speed. so the best case scenario for you would be to load 2 sizes of shot, 7s for clays and 4s for pigeon. i can even give you some recipes to try. but they will be expensive on powder ~£300/ k. you can load them slower, but that wouldnt be the best cartridge combination. there really isnt one shell for all. thats why shotguns are so versatile, 100`s of types of ammo
