Got two holes & a "L" shaped rip in my Neoprene Chest Waders What is the best way to repair them ? MC Posted October 17, 2006 Report Share Posted October 17, 2006 Peltman, Put the patch on the outside. An old boatbuilder friend of mine will tell you, you can't stop a leak from the inside. I believe that the aquaseal stuff on that link is brilliant, if it is the stuff I am thinking of. it is like a thick liquid rubber which you glue the split together with and then build up over the outside. Failing that if you have a boat chandlers near you, call in and see if they do a repair kit for rigid inflatable boats (RIB's) as that will do the same job.
