Actionpigeons
Went out for a couple of hrs this morning, ended up in a small wood not far from the village I live in. I shot a few birds coming from the village to the wood, all had full crops at 10.00am. I am sure they are hitting the bird tables in the village as you can see by this ones crop. 21,01,13. JDog
They may be finding the grain on bird tables but if any ground near you is keepered they may be finding it on feed rides.

JDog
One crop full of wheat is worth four of rape at this time of year for the pigeons. It just shows how adaptable they are, finding sources of food other than agricultural crops. I imagine that is why they are so succesful and increasing in number despite the best efforts of PW members and others.
