Wood Burning Stove, ''Eco Fan'' Help

Does anyone know of a ''eco fan'' type of fan that is smaller than what apears to be standard 230mm high?

My problem is than the distance from the top of my stove to the register plate will only allow a fan height of 200mm

or 8'', had a good look on the net and they all seem to be a standard size

Cheers Tim.

having just received a eco-fan that I ordered, they are brilliant, but your right, 9" height, how about space at the side of burner? if you could find some high temp glue could it not be stuck on sideways?

failing that, why not try making your own

An ecofan won't work in an alcove as it works on a temperature difference between the base and the top cooling fins being different . If its mounted close to the register plate then it will retain to much heat and not work properly

that's funny as mine works brilliantly, we now have a warm front room, kitchen and hallway, where as before just in front of the burner
