lakeside1000
Spent the morning on 'robertcook' and 'ranger525's permission yesterday, snow still on the rape but there were plenty of pigeons until we arrived, then they just flew away, we had a few stragglers come onto the decoys through the morning, but only managed 8 birds between 5 guns, still we kept them moving and off the rape. After lunch we set up a clay trap, had a ball shooting clays until the trap suffered a breakdown, but all in all a good day, One thing ive never seen before happened in the morning, ranger525 had left his hide to chat with me, we heard a commotion and saw a big male muntjac deer run straight through rangers hide net, caught by the head the deer was backing away dragging the net by his antlers until he managed to shake free and ran off, needless to say the hide needed rebuilding, quite a day, looking foward to the next time, thanks again fella's. sorry about the mistake in the title, these brownings are so confusing, 525 not 585. should buy a beretta 686 Edited February 10, 2013 by lakeside1000
