sishyplops
Hi looking for a leather gun slip and am watching a "classic shooting essentials" one on flea bay, does anyone have any experience with them as they seem an eBay only business as a google search brings up nothing at all, their feedback seems exemplary , Any thoughts? Thanks Rich
OvEr_KiLL
never heard of them, but if i was buying a good quality leather gun slip i would buy a guardian leather one! http://www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/category/Accessories/Guardian+Leather/Slips%272C+Bags+%2726+Cases/
bunnybasha
I bought a guardian leather slip off eBay and it was terrible so I sent it back which cost me an extra £12.50. Had one made by croots in the end and I'm really happy with it, they threw in the engraving free. A little more expensive but should last 20 years plus. And your local shop should get them much cheaper than their website.
OvEr_KiLL
why was the guardian terrible?
Mangled99
Is it a dark leather slip as I was about to offer up a nubuck leather matching slip and cartridge bag for £120 posted that will be cleaned and waterproofed which I've had for 6 months. I don't need them any more as I have bought a Harrison Slip Stand. http://www.johnshooter.com/nubuck-leather-lambs-wool-lined-shotgun-slip-p-356.html http://www.johnshooter.com/leather-cartridge-bag-nubuck-p-275.html

huffhuff
Try Phil Ogden. I had a gun slip, game bag and cartridge bag made by Phil. Fantastic quality, all hand made in the UK by Phil. I saw him at the game show and his leather slips were selling like hot cakes. I even bought her indoors a tweed bag. http://www.gtimatchman.co.uk/ You won't be disappointed. Edited February 16, 2013 by huffhuff
