Loki
Hi All the 'elec-trickery' (thank you Dave-G) is no use if when stopped the claim is 'not working or no access etc'.. PNC etc all relys on it being available/accessable when you want a PC to confirm something.............you will never know if it is or isnt. In my opinion, to forgo difficulties it would be advisable to carry a copy of the original, even though the 'law' (as written) does not say a copy is acceptable.................. ....if you are happy to argue your case further down the line should it go 'funny' that is your perogative........ Imperfection
When i go out lamping i have a laminated copy of my FAC stuck in the pocket behind drivers seat just incase i get stopped. Saying that though,i've removed guns from car while a Police car drove by and he never stopped, but this is Cambridgshire Police who use common sense. bobt
I scanned my fac and sg, and printed small copies of the top bits onto card, then laminated them, credit card size. you can see the photo and the cert number, thats all the police need as they radio in for info.
