Gray
Hi, I'm looking for a rifle cabinet with an internal locking compartment - so far the cheapest ive found is the Brattonsound Sentinel plus SL5+ 4/5 gun at £137.33 all in delivered! Can anyone advise of anywhere cheaper?? Cheers in advance Gray

Lord Geordie
You COULD buy a used Deep rifle cabinet and fit your OWN mini safe inside for your ammo. I bought a mini safe for £14 delivered to the door and it mounts to the wall. All you would need is to drill through the back of your cabinet and fix through the cabinet into the wall Just a thought LG
Devon Fox
I have the same cabinet, holds my .222 (with bipod) 22lr and 2 x 12g's no problem, the only gripe is the bolt/ammo safe is very small, so i bought a digital safe for holding my rounds, good cabinet
Poacher
i got all my cabinets from Mole Valley Nr Liskeard, its the cheapest in the area and saves postage costs etc.. LG's idea of getting a 2nd hand one is good as it will save you £'s. Buy the biggest you can, you can never have a gun safe to big,, you'll fill it in no time
Big Dog
Brattonsound are good. Extra deep, with locking inner box is what you are after. I agree with other posts, don't ever go for what you need! Plan ahead now, it will only cost you an extra £20-£30 for the extra space, you will need the extra space for ammo anyway. I had a 4 gun and changed it to a Brattonsound extra deep, with locking inner box 7 gun. At the time I had 4 guns, now I have 6 and applying for a 7th, what next I love the safe. I will probably buy another 4/5 gun, bolt it to the other and the wall and break up my guns between the 2. Also give me some ammo space. If I was starting again I would get a 14 gun with inner lock box and digital locks, you can buy them in you side of the pond from £399.00-£600+. Sentra I think is the name, the Sportmans does them. Gray
Cheers for the replies peeps, These ammo safes am i right in saying they dont need to be to BS (just the rifle cabinet)? and would an Army stlye ammo box with hasp and staple bolted to the floor or even bolted inside the cabinet suffice( i'm sure ive read of someone doing it like that b4) ??
