silver pigeon 3 Posted February 16, 2013 Report Share Posted February 16, 2013 Roast long and slow with a tent of foil loosely over the top, but remove 40 mins from the end to allow to crisp off. morty Posted February 17, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 hi all , thanks for all your suggestions , I ended up slow roasting breast down in apple juice and some honey , with a foil covering , 140c for 4.5 hours .
