wymberley
OK, Guys, I'm getting on a bit now but have always been a technician of one sort or another. But today I was nearly beaten. Got there in the end - in my drive and in the sunshine; conditions which do not usually prevail when you have a puncture - Murphy and Sod see to that. Consequently, if you are not mechanically minded and/or not au fait with the storage mechanism of the Subject wheel should you own a Ranger, I would suggest it may just pay to have a shufti. If nothing else, you can check the tyre pressure when you drop it down. Far better to suss it under your terms than on the hard shoulder of the M something or other in the pouring rain with all the family on board. Your starter for ten is that you only need the front (business) end of the jack handle; the back end of which fits into the square hole in the wheel nut spanner. Edit: Jasper, are you paying attention? Edited February 16, 2013 by wymberley
fishingtex
wymberley, Where abouts is the wheel nut spanner located on the Ranger? I've found the jack and winder (behind the rear seat) but where is the wheel nut spanner?
