FOXHUNTER1 Posted February 20, 2013 Report Share Posted February 20, 2013 Had a trip down to Lincs on Monday near Woodhall Spa to try for fallow and muntjac. The weather was great and I anticipated getting a few deer grassed but unfortunately the deer had other ideas Beautiful estate with lovely woodland but the only chance I had at a deer was at last light when a single fallow doe emerged From my tower I watched a fox , stoats , grey squirrels. rabbits , hares , peacocks, treecreepers , goldcrests , pheasants , jays , long tailed tits and other various birds but sadly the deer just weren't moving........................ yds Posted February 20, 2013 Report Share Posted February 20, 2013 looks very similar to ground down there my mate has, they only have munty and roe on it. they have seen a few fallow footprints aand have 1 on a stealth cam but there not there in numbers. well done. To be able to watch all of that wildlife in my opinion is a priveledge, and a nice fallow to finish to the day off is an added bonus. Well done.
