Dunkield Posted February 22, 2013 Report Share Posted February 22, 2013 Barrel chopping can be a contentious issue, I had mine chopped and added an ASE Utra as I hate the balance of long barrels with big heavy mods hanging off the end. It hasn't suffered at all in terms of accuracy, I didn't chrono before/after but I accept the velocity will have dropped slightly but the deer haven't noticed My barrel is now 19" or 24" moderated, it's a 1:12 CZ 527 too.
